Wife went to Mercy Midlake with cough, body aches, runny nose, severe breathing issues. That location gave her a breathing treatment and directed her to the main hospital for an X-ray, that was yesterday around noon. She called that evening, the next morning, and again the following evening (tonight). They told her nobody has looked at the X-ray yet and try calling tomorrow. RecommendedEveryone is so friendly. They really care about the patients. They take time to explain every procedure. They follow up right away with test results.
came here for seizures in the er. they pur me in corner room 5 and I had 2 seizures and none of the staff checked on me. if it wasn't for my husband I wouldn't even be here. Then they put an iv in talking about in case you have another seizure we'll give you some medicine. I snapped and suing cause they need to have better nurses and doctors. after snapping all they gave me was a small bag of iv medication and told me goodbye. And I was here for 5 hours!!
The television remote in my mothers ICU room is not functioning. For the past 3 hours we have been waiting for an engineer. The nurse has called several times and I called patient care services. They transferred me to dispatch and all I get is excuses. This is how they treat a patient that has suffered from ICU delirium during their precious ICU stay. The engineer still has not responded and no one cares. Is there even an engineer working!!!
This is what I’m going to put on my survey.......nurses most times never answered my call from call button and when someone did she had an attitude and abruptly cut me off ; I was put on restriction and when I’d order food they would leave it sitting in the hall to get cold; I had to advocate for myself in the er in order to be admitted; I begged for pain medicine from 3a-9a on Mon the 7th they finally gave me some about 10am; was not given any toiletries like soap, toothpaste or tooth brush; no one helped me wash up, had to... read more
Brought lady here with severe chest pain, recently discharged with blood clots and sitting in ER now 5 hours and not been seen!!! Good place for someone to open a hospital!!! They should close this place for sure! Plus it’s filthy!
My experience in the ER was completely different. I was treated VERY WELL and everyone..including the nurses..was VERY ACCOMMODATING AND RESPECTFUL Sorry others had a rough time I didn't. hospital stay was equally enjoyable. I was recognized by my last name and my room was 1119. beautiful view. overall..my stay was satisfying considering my health circumstances.
