Truly enjoyed the pork belly appetizer and the best brussel sprouts EVER! Great lil place!
We hosted our wedding reception here and could not be happier with our choice! Emily was incredibly helpful from start to finish with every step of the planning. The food was amazing and the desserts were exceptional. We have received compliments from each of our guests on our choice of venue! Thank you so much for making our special day so memorable!
Best restaurant in Lawrence! Great menu, awesome beer selection and a really inviting atmosphere and staff. This is a must for a nice date night, and it's also a fun place for happy hours.
Love the atmosphere and art displays. Eclectic meals, off the beaten path. If you're into kale, rabbit, and other less common findings, you will enjoy.

I have eaten at Merchants many times over the last year. I have a bunch of dietary restrictions, and they are always willing to meet my needs. When I eat at Merchants, I feel like a person without dietary restrictions, and that never happens elsewhere.
Planning our daughters wedding we went to several locations to decide on an after party and catered brunch. When we walked into Merchants they stopped what they were doing even though we did not have an appointment and talked at length as to what they could help us with. I went to a graduation at KU in May with my family . We had heard about your restaurant and thought we would try it out. We were very impressed with the food and service we received. We set upstairs and our server was Rachel and she was such a delight. She was very attentive and had a great smile. We plan on coming back soon and we will be requesting the tall server named Rachel .
