Such a great find!! Thoughtful, healthy and delicious menu, great cocktails, beer selection to die for and incredible, knowledgable service. The lack of pretension was refreshing as well. Dining there twice in 3 days!!

We went there for our very first time. And we thought the food was very excellent. I would Really recommend that place to anyone. And the atmosphere was really great and the people were very friendly and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely come back sometime soon. :)
Unique preparations with plenty of choice for both food and drink. I've loved everything I've eaten. This is my go-to restaurant.
Merchants is a very happening place! Very busy, we made reservations on a Friday afternoon and could only get the third floor for 8 PM. If you're a people watcher this will be your kind of place! If you'd like to have a conversation with the person across from you this is not your place! I believe we went on a very busy weekend KU was having parents weekend. We had a great time!
What a great spot to stop for a bite late night. Yummy, we had a lobster roll and some cheese with honey last night after seeing a concert at Liberty hall.

The Bee Stings were a great starter, the Coconut Oil Seared Salmon was cooked to perfection, and the sweet potato donuts with a pear butter chutney - servers incredibly knowledgeable and polite. Great atmosphere!
Absolutely love this place!!!! It's one of our favorites to go to when we are in Lawrence
