In 30 years of living in LFK, Merchant's is a ffavorite.
My husband and I took our Mom's to Merchants today for lunch. The food was amazing and as always we had excellent service. Make sure to eat here when you're in downtown Lawrence. As a side note, I remember when the building was First National Bank. It was probably the late 1960s and as a small child what I remember most is walking up the marble stairs and thinking how big and beautiful the building looked.

Merchants Pub & Plate has fabulous food made by the owner & chef, TK Peterson. The restaurant is in a restored & decorated bank building on Massachusetts Ave in Lawrence! My girlfriends & I loved everything about our dining experience!

One of the BEST experiences in Lawrence, hands down. From the Chef to the waiters, you can't go wrong. If you're in Lawrence, this is a must-have. The seasonal options are always on point...no matter what you choose, you won't go wrong. Also, the beer selection is to die for!!!
We've been there twice, each time has been a good time. The food and the service has been great. We would recommend it to friends
