I had an awful experience with my first time meeting my therapist. It made me lose faith in their practice entirely. I got paired with Katrina, and she was awful. She asked me if I loved myself, I said yes and then she continued to spend the rest of the appointment disagreeing with me, arguing with me and telling me that my real problem is that I don’t love myself. This was extremely insulting. She made me explain why I love myself, and then didn’t believe me that I do in fact love myself. We had barely spoken for 15 minutes... read more
