I had an awful experience with my first time meeting my therapist. It made me lose faith in their practice entirely. I got paired with Katrina, and she was awful. She asked me if I loved myself, I said yes and then she continued to spend the rest of the appointment disagreeing with me, arguing with me and telling me that my real problem is that I don’t love myself. Love that my doctor actually listens to my concerns and also the scheduling can be very flexible which is nice.
My wife recently went through some serious postpartum psychosis and depression symptoms after our first pregnancy. We were looking for a psychiatrist to help with medication and therapy. If you have any needs that are more serious than you feel a little sad, this is absolutely not the place to go even if you just need a psychiatrist to approve your medications.
