We stayed one night there. Loved the nostalgic feeling of this beautiful the hotel. We stayed on the 2nd floor and we walked all of the halls and floors of the hotel around midnight. Read up on all the history before staying there (ask for a copy at the front desk) and yes we did feel chills from time to time possibly the spirits that still linger there. Will definitely stay again.

Always a favorite. Close to everything. But once you walk in - it feels like a get away.
Love the old interior design, nice pool and whirl pool plus the rose garden. Location is Perfect right by the Alamo 👍🏻
Historic, updated tastefully.
One of the worst staffs to deal with. Their unprofessionalism is beyond comprehension. We tried to call for a week to change our reservations. The front desk would not help us and Monica Gonzales would never return our calls. I would not recommend staying here. Incompetent people that are incapable of dealing with the slightest problem
