Last week, after seeing my excellent gastroenterolgist, Dr. Conlon, he recommended a test that wasn't done at MCDH. Sue, at the front desk, not only informed me of that but contacted the doctor (actually walking the paperwork inside) and in only minutes had the lab work changed to a procedure that is done locally (both are equal in accuracy apparently). This was customer-service above and beyond as the "problem" was recognized and resolved in quick time. Bravo, Sue, and the support hospital staff. Robert Becker
I wouldn't normally bash our hospital but this is the 4th or 5th visit I have had a terrible experience I went in to er even though I really didn't Want to. I had /have several abdominal pain and the nurse who checked me in was great she was concerned helpful and caring she got me in a room in er quick I had a different nurse come in a while later she asked a few questions then left she came back to put iv in my arm then left again after a long long wait the Dr came asked a few question s felt my throat and looked at my stom... read more
Horrible Service! The Drs. & nurses just sit around and talk to each other. THEY dont check in on patients. IT is very filthy....Just horrible all around i would NEVER recommend it.
We have lived in this community for over 16 years and have used the services at MCDH many times. Both of our children were born here. Every experience has been great! Staff are all caring and professional. Thank you!
1 star for poor accounting and lack of transparency. NO PARCEL TAX!!!

Bad things happen in hospitals. Bad things, sad things, miraculous things, joyous things. Any hospital, all hospitals so lets get real about what it means to not have a hospital close by. Raise your hand if MCDH has saved your life. My hand is up. Out of the blue I was rushed to the ER with what I had thought was an ear infection. Smart people and quick thinking in the ER ended with brain surgery at Stanford for me and not a minute too soon. So yes I would be dead and so would plenty of other people without MCDH.
