My Husband had an outpatient procedure last week and I will say, everything was top notch! Big shoutout to Sharon Sumner, RN for her awesome personality!! She is the nurse for us, funny, sweet, through and really great at getting that IV in! She made a stressful situation actually fun! I have to post this because I feel the need to share. I was admitted into the ER late Thursday night after a tumble down some stairs got me an inch long gash in the back of my head. The ER nurses and doctors were very helpful, calm and thorough. After hearing a lot of complaints about our hospital I have to say have happy and lucky I feel to have MCDH. ALSO my primary doctor at the north coast family health center is amazing. Thank you MCDH staff for putting up with our little community and making it a better place.
This is essentially for Mendo Coast locals. I have had in mind to sing the praises of our Coast District Hospital since arriving at the Emergency Room @ 3:30 a.m. on March 19th. But I wanted to wait until the full cast of caregiving characters has been involved, and with inclusion of Home Health Care, this is now so. Written by a close friend... Huge shout out and Thank You to Fort Bragg paramedics! They are amazing and I am so thankful to have them in this town! Today my full assist client took a bad fall and couldn't move, I called 911 and within 8 minutes they were at the door. They took my client and had me ride with them to the hospital. After we were all done they gave us a ride back home and put my client in the bed. I have never been to this hospital but today had out patient surgery there. It was a great experience but I want to give a very special heartfelt thank you to Chris an out patient RN. she took the BEST care of me I could have ever asked for! she was so sweet and treated me like family ❤❤❤ I feel blessed that I got to be in her care For my short time there. I hope this can be passed along to her. Thank you all for all that you do!
