Very discriminatory against single parents, most of whom are female. I've switched to Home Depot. They are much more welcoming and are happy to have our business.
Just had the worst experience at Menards. I have always been a faithful Menards fan but wow... no more. I tried to return something that was unopened with original receipt. It was 2 days past the 90day. However they wouldn't allow me through the door with my kids for months and had shorter hours which made it near impossible as a single mom to get there. Normally I really like this store. But they seriously need to work on their own store maintenance. The windy area near the exit had my maxi skirt blowing around and it litterally caught on shin-height exposed nails (pointy end) of the register-base I was checking out at. Not safe. You have how many hammers in the home improvement store and nobody is maintaining the store saftey including leaving out pointy-exposed nail hazards? Good place to go if you know everything you need to know about what you are buying. If you are in the need of assistance do not go to the store. Purchase large items with the assistance of the department manager hoping to get correct items that fit together but do not. then store manager does not want to rectify the situation by helping out a customer. Thank's Menards for the most UNPROFESSIONAL AND WORST experience of my life!!!!! #1 it took FOREVER (1 month) to have one of your carpet installers to even call back to set up the installation and mind you we called all of them (3)!! #2 finally they come yesterday to put in the carpet but come to find out there is a stain on the carpet!!! #3 They then need to leave and unroll the carpet at your store and say that they can come back today to finish the job!! #4 No show or call until my husband finally calls them to see where ... read more
I love Menards. They always have everything I need and more. :-)
I like shopping there, but hate being stalked by them until I provide a review. Hopefully, they will leave me shop in peace. If not, I'll just go somewhere else.
