May I just say a great big THANK YOU to Dr. James Freeman and the WHOLE staff MECA for the wonderful care you give to you patients! I'm so thankful for you all and have nothing but praise for everyone there. Dr. James, you took care of me 13 years ago when I came in with acute angle closure (I think that is what you called it) and you had to "zap" my eye that day. We have been with MECA since 1989. We have had cataract surgery, my husband had two retina detachments and he is currently being treated for Glacoma. We are very pleased and would not go anywhere else.
Great place and atmosphere and the staff was very professional
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They also got me in and out pretty quickly.
Dr. Gettlefinger was really patient with my flinching until I was brave enough to let him stick my eye with a needle twice to pop cysts on my eyeball. He's always been very nice to me and I'm happy with my care there thusfar :)
I should have taken my father here long before now! An excellent patient experience. Super professionalism and a great organized process. The staff was courteous, communicative, did wonderfully at explaining, and was great at engaging me as well as my dad. What a plus to have the option to view the procedure via monitor.
