Second visit and food was mediocre and vibe wasn’t as nice. They wanted us out of there for a private party so I felt like I had to eat my food fast. Hush puppies were tough on outside and gooey, instead of fluffy on inside. Southern food isn’t that hard people, southern hospitality goes with it too. Neither are hard, just have to be kind. Won’t be back.
Live in Atlanta and from Memphis. This place is legit! Great soul food! So good... two nights in a row! The meat loaf and fried chicken is awesome! Service was great too - highly recommend checking it out!
Wednesday morning my wife and I enjoyed our first visit. We will be back to try something new. Chicken and waffles were delish !

Foods a little expensive but i love the drinks happy hour is the best.
Second visit to the Memphis Cafe. Our family loves it. Great food and service. We will be returning. It's a two and half drive for us, and worth it. Awesome food!
Chicken and waffles accompanied by 2 scrambled eggs...Only the best brunch we have had in ages. Atmosphere was great, music playing and great service. We will be back!!!
