This place has yummy breakfast and great service !
We have very close friends that live within walking distance, so this is our go to breakfast spot. The food and atmosphere is good, and we always have a great time here.

Food was good. Nothing spectacular, but it was good. Service was on the slow side. Scene was full of hipsters, which gives me the creeps. Place is extremely loud, which doesn’t bother me, but it was distracting my loud.
It's been awhile since I've eaten here and honestly I was disappointed. Back in the Late 90's they had an amazing chef who did fish to perfection not to mention everything else on the menu, including the gumbo and cornbread. Who ever is running the kitchen now...not so much. The gumbo was thin, the portion very modest. Same with the cornbread...use to be a nice portion. It's Southern cooking for goodness sake but it's like they are preparing for bird size appetites...the beer was good.
This place is sooo good, I was really happy with the food & service!!
