Memphis At The Santora has excellent food! This restaurant is in a historical building in the heart of the downtown artist's district. The food was exceptional. We sat outside; it was very noisy in the restaurant. It was noisy outside too though, because both Memphis and the restaurant a few yards across the walking path were both playing music. That was a bit annoying.

We sat outside; it was very noisy in the restaurant. It was noisy outside too though, because both Memphis and the restaurant a few yards across the walking path were both playing music. That was a bit annoying. It was a cool night, and it took quite a while for someone to light the outdoor heater. But I will eat here again in a heartbeat. The food was THAT good.

Soul Food Check out this place for a hip and happening cafe. The food is good old fashioned soul food. Friendly staff and the food was great and made to order.

Great atmosphere, but lacking personality I was really eager to eat here, since I've seen it a million times but I'd never stopped. I ordered a chicken dish, which was okay, but not great. Price was too high for quality of food. Staff was sort of rude. Decor was awesome, felt like I was in LA or NYC.
