Memorial Park Staff took care of us completely when my Mother died in 2014. Before then we had pre-arranged our funerals. I could not have asked for a more professional staff on both occasions!!! They are sensitive, professional and walk the journey of life and death with you!!! I have known the staff for years and would not trust any other funeral home in the Memphis area with our needs. I would also recommend pre-arranging your funerals BEFORE you need then. Best thing we ever did.
The service was great and the speaker, A.C. Wharton was great. He said that they gave the ultimate sacrifice and we should honor them no matter what the color of their skin was. He also wondered why more people don't attend since they have the day off. Mentioned the fact that Memorial Day was started in the South by Southern Women to honor the Confederate Dead.
Great place to go and take pictures it is a wonderful place
While searching for things to do in Memphis I found the Crystal Shrine Grotto as one of the top 10 things to do. Intrigued with cemeteries we decided to visit. We ran into Kenneth Walker who is a family counselor and he spent some time with us sharing about the vision of the park and taking us around to see several famous individuals whom are buried there. Very beautiful place! Very well kept clean and the shrine is BEAUTIFUL! A MUST see while visiting Memphis area!
While I was going through one of the most difficult times of my life due to the death of my Mother, the kind and considerate staff at Memorial Park took wonderful care of me. Kerri, Gina, and Michael made each step much easier. I would have been lost without them. There are so many decisions to be made and it was truly a pleasure to work with such genuine people. I would like thank all of you for your hard work and patience. You are a tremendous team!
