Family atmosphere . Been taking our family pets there since I was little, now my fur kids go! My akita and pyranese are a handful, almost( dare I say it) a nightmare when it comes to shedding,grooming and keeping fleas at bay. They handle them so well! I swear the dogs enjoy going because they run up to the door themselves! 😊
Mel’s has been an absolute joy to work with. We drive our dogs up from Austin because we love their work, and trust them with our dogs.
I've been taking my dogs here for years, they treat the animals so well here. Very affordable and they do a great job, I leave a happy customer every time.
So happy with Mel’s! They did an AMAZING job on our Rain! She was beautiful and she is so happy with her new, Fresh, Summer cut! So happy to have found them!

Warning. STAY AWAY! Horrible place. Don't let appearances fool you. Groomer lacks skills, care for animals, and void of customer relations. Now to the reason. Took a Golden doodle in to have face, feet, and underside trimmed. Dog comes home with a bleeding bottom, rectal and genital. He is in pain, has to be medicated, and wear a collar. Groomer later explained that he sat down on the clippers, and was a "bad boy" ! Seriously? A simple phone call and holding off on hurting him would have been a better choice. I am blown away with the Service myself and my great Pyrenees received. I know first hand that double coated dogs are not the easiest to groom properly but Jessica from Mel's did the best job I have seen yet. I would rate higher than 5 stars if possible.
