Best Clam chowder around,,I see some negative responses and mostly good responses,,sure sometimes you wait a little, but the waitresses do get busy at times,you have that Anywhere! Why are they busy ? Because people know where to get good food ! At Mels diner AKA,,Lincoln Diner. I've been going there since I grew up living directly behind the diner in the 70s,,I will Continue to go there until I'm not able to !

Good food, good service what more could a person ask for in a diner. Love their breakfast menu all day because I am not a morning person as anybody that knows me will testify to.
Last night - went to Mels diner for b-day dinner--always Loved the Liver&onions. When I got the plate of Liver-Tasted old - did not eat - when waitress asked how it was-Told her why I didn't eat the liver. Said there is nothing she can do about it. Gave me my bill--charged me full price. needless to say - I am just about finished with Mels Diner!
This was a great Diner we actually had Breakfast and Lunch both were great. I would recommend if going through this area
The waitress,Jackie, she's awesome! Very friendly and my dad loves her.
