I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place close to campus. The apartments are about a 10-minute walk from campus, which was incredibly convenient for me, especially since the bus system can be unreliable at times. Being able to simply walk to class was a huge plus. The unit itself is older, but it was more than enough for me, and I found the space to be a good size for a studio. Melroy has been an amazing home for me for a few years, and Chris and Alex are two of the nicest people I've met. I would recommend anyone moving to Austin to talk with Westside group first, they'll help you find a place you can call home

I lived at Melroy for a few years and overall it was a good experience! I recommend living here. The location is great for walking/commuting, maintenance was also super quick, and the property manager is the best! The apartment building is older so make sure you do a tour to see if it’s your vibe.

Lovely experience at Melroy. I lived here my senior year at UT, is in a quieter area in North Campus but there is still plenty around. There is a laundromat, plenty of coffee shops, and central market within walking distance. It is also within close walking distance to campus (the campus bus also comes every ten minutes and the stop is located about 2 minutes from melroy). The apartment is older but if issues arise the maintenance is very quick to fix it. Chris the manager is also very quick and reliable.
