The food and the service were below par. We had to ask for a high chair three times. The chef salad had maybe one deli slice of ham and no other meat. Appetizer came, but no plates or silverware. Italian sub didn’t have all the ingredients that were listed on the menu. Pepperoni pizza was hella-greasy.
My 13-year old daughter and 12 of her friends just had lunch at the McKinney location and I cannot tell you how well Tyler took care of them. My daughter got in the car and gushed about how he was so kind, split up the check for all 13 kiddos (most of them shared so it wasn’t your normal splitting) & worked so hard waiting on them. Food was fine. Service was extremely slow on a not-very-busy Monday. We seemed to have 2 servers and we finally had to ask someone for our bill and to go boxes.

Seated and handed a menu on a Sunday afternoon. Three employees were at the front and never came to our table. After 15 minutes, we left. Very disappointing.

I have been going to this Mello Mushroom location for a couple of years now, since we recently moved back to this area. I have loved their food, and service up until a couple of months ago. I went three times in the last couple of months and each time, hoping my previous experience was a one time problem but, all three times, it took an unusually long time for the food to come out, like an hour, not just Pizza, and were out of the beers that my husband always orders. The last two times we were there, food was brought out all at different times. This time we had to wait more, because they burnt the pizzas. My son and I were completely done eating, by the time my hubby and daughter got their food. I gave them one extra star because they were fair and comped the pizza on our ticket.
