Great Pizza – My wife and I have been to Mello Mushroom about 15 times. We love it! The pizza is the best in the triangle. We are actually ordering out tonight and can't wait to get our mighty meaty pizza. The BBQ chicken is our second favorite. You will enjoy this place, trust me! Raleigh Resident
Great Pizza The Mellow Mushroom has become a great eatery in the downtown Raleigh area. An eclectic crowd --- from coat and tie Sunday goers to the bohemian girls with unshaved legs all come to this pizza parlor. Great food at great prices. There is a nice outside area - but unfortunately dogs are not allowed! The beers are ICE cold and the servers are good and service is fast. You can NOT go wrong at the Mellow Mushrrom Pizza Bakery.
Love it! This is a great place to have a beer and some pizza after a long day at work. They have a nice patio outside. It's almost always packed,but you never have to wait long for a seat. The pizza is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. I also love the decor! It's bright and fun!
bad service...great pizza. Theres a reason why they call the mellow mushroom mellow...nd it has everything to do with their service. If you don't mind waiting...and waiting...and waiting, they you'll love the mellow mushroom.
Great Food – By far it is the best pizza around as long as you are not in a hurry!
Terrible – After Lilly's Pizza, some of the worst, tasteless garbage I have ever had. Save your money and go to the grocers. The frozen pizza is better.
All wrong! – I was intrigued by the vegetarian offerings, but the place is noisy, the staff is very very very slow and I got beef & bacon in vegetarian dish I ordered. A previous time the waitress dropped a beer in my lap. Both times the management gave me $5 off my bill, but with no apology. Another time lunch took an hour and a half- the waiter seemed to disappear, only to come back bleary-eyed and forgetful. Excellent Pizza and Ambiance – I love Mellow Mushroom! Although the wait can be up to 30 minutes or more if you come on a Friday or Saturday night during peak hours, the food makes it worth the wait. I love designing my own pizza. I always make a pizza with fresh sliced tomatoes and fresh garlic, and it is ALWAYS excellent. Don't go to the Mellow – The service was slow and incompetent. The pizza was below average. All in all a place to avoid.
