AWESOME FOOD....HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! – I am not a person who would usually sit down and write a review. My family and I ate there every Friday night and would normally do pick up during the week. I have however, had to stop eating at my favorite neighborhood spot. Because of SEVERAL instances, I find the manager Amber RUDE and DIFFICULT! Horrible customer service – The food is awesome so maybe think about doing take out. The servers are terrible. Our waitress Amber was extremely rude and gave us horrible service. Excellent food but not worth being disrespected
Cheap Cheap Cheap – Went there tonight and ordered two small pizzas with my boyfriend - one was the Creole-Q pizza with shrimp. The other was the "philosopher". We were shocked when the pizzas came out - the toppings were so skimpy that we thought there was a mistake. The creole pizza has less than 10 tiny shrimp on the whole thing and a few onions - thats it. - and it costs $13. When I asked the waitress about it she said that is the way it normally looked. Good food, horrible service. – Had a large party (17) and called to see if they accepted call ahead seating and we were told no. Arrived one hour before our party arrived to put our name in. Were told it would be no problem and were even shown where our table would be. We were also told that we did not need to wait around. Arrived back 15 minutes early and someone else was being seated at our table. We were told it was because they called ahead! Amazing Staff and Quality Food – From the moment I walked into The Mellow Mushroom I was greeted with a warm Georgia hello and instantly the nostalgia of the space warped me to my home town in Oregon where pizza is served over wood tables and pints of local micro beer flow plentifully. I loved the Grateful Dead references throughout as well. The manager, bartender, and wait staff were quick to help us "out-of-towners" find the best attractions Atlanta had to offer and give us time out of their busy shifts. Now on to the food... read more
Yummy! – The food is delicious here. The atmosphere is fun, the decor is creative. I would recommend this to anyone. It's a great bar on weekend nights. The service is speedy! The crust on this pizza is TO DIE FOR! The pizzas are so delicious, and the pretzels are delicious!
Great pizza – I know people call this college pizza but its really NOT. This pizza really rocks. Services is great and the place is fun to be in. The crust is NOT greasy like most of the others and the toppings are fresh. I love it and cant get enough!
Worth the wait? – The pizza and salads are awesome. Good flavor every time we eat there. Food is consistently good and there is a wide variety of beers to choose from. Parking lot has about 10 spots and there is no place to wait for a table. You have to hang out for up to one hour or more for a table!
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE – Ask for a different waitress if you get Sonia as your waiter. She has no customer service skills and when she screws up she can't just own up to it and give an sympathic I'm sorry. Upon delivering the wrong order to our table after waiting almost 35 minutes, we kindly made her aware of her error and asked her to bring out the right order.
