Good veggie sandwich if u ask for it..been eating here since 1974..great pizza !!

Apparently Mellow Mushroom seats all their gay patrons in the back corner booth, away from everyone. My boyfriend and I came in for dinner. We were taken to a very large booth in the back corner, next to the restroom and kitchen. It made no sense to seat us at such a large booth, considering the plethora of seats available at the bar, as well as two-seaters at the front. My waitress last night, Abby, was AMAZING! She was so kind, attentive, polite, and never once made us feel rushed. She was very busy all night long, but she never let that effect her attitude, or her service. Towards the end of our meal, I received an upsetting phone call and she could sense my energy had changed. She surprised our table with a delicious cookie just to make us smile. She truly gave us a magnificent dining experience. Abby is EXCELLENT and I will ask for her every time I come back. Thank you, Abby!! :)

The food was very good, as was expected. The service was terrible, we, my daughter and myself, came in and was told by the hostess there were no tables free. That was true because they had so many dirty tables waiting to be cleaned. We sat at the bar , which has not been a problem at other places but proved to be a huge problem here. Don't come here if you don't have 1-2 hours to wait. We had wanted to grab some food between our aquarium trip and baseball game we had a good hour to get food out of the way and ended up having to rush our pizza down because after waiting 15 minutes to be seated we had to wait an additional 45 to get our pizza. It was really good and I would've gave it 5 stars had our wait not been Soooooooooo long. Nice server and the beer cheese could've been less beery. But great food! So if you don't mind waiting go right ahead.
Yum!!!!!! The best calzone EVER!!!!....I worked at the original in Roswell 25 + years ago and brings back a lot of memories.
