I've had pets for all of my 72 years. As a child I would take my dog to my doctor (there were no vets in my little town). From then until now I've known many veterinarians, both good and a few not so good, Oakwood Animal Hospital is the very best place I've ever taken my pets. I felt like Dr. Mary and the staff treated my pets the way they would treat their own. My pets and I felt special.
I just returned from seeing Dr. Mary Mascheck at this clinic. She spent FOUR hours with me and my Rottweiler that has cancer. She was kind and explained everything thoroughly to me. She explained my options. If you want your pet to be treated with kindness, take them to see Dr. Mary.
I have 3 animals and they have all visited this so called animal hospital, but I will say they will never go back. The Vets treat you like Poo and they also treat the animals like they a four legged burden that is just another pay check to them!! I was told two weeks ago by a vet tech that my dog had cancer and was going to die if I did not let them do surgery on her. I decided to get a second opinion and was told that the place on her hind leg was not cancer but it is a cyst that does have cells that could turn into cancer.... read more
