I have a prism, which corrects my double vision. Dr. Curl wrote a prescription that was significantly different than my current one. I let her know that I have been dealing with double vision for the last 10 years, and I was reluctant to make such a significant change. When the prescription did not work, Dr. Curl was determined that the lab, one I have been using for years with no issues, cut the lenses incorrectly.
