I went in as a new patient. I explained I had pain in a specific tooth. They took xrays and said there was nothing wrong with the tooth, but I could go to a separate root canal specialist for a second opinion. Then they said I needed a deep cleaning, which would cost $400. I have never paid that much for cleaning. They did one side of my mouth and told me I would need to make another appointment for the other side... what? And that would be an additional $400... Melbourne Family Dental is a wonderful practice. Dr. Thomas and her staff are all professional and friendly and really try to get to know their patients and to explain and carry out what would be best for their dental health. Covid precautions are being taken and masks are required until you get into the chair. I moved to the area last year and have already recommended this practice to several people.
