Melanie is a true sweetheart and very professional. What blew me away was that she is so knowledgeable. Melanie taught me so much about my own hair that I thought I knew so well after all these years. Melanie cleared up myths and old wives tales of the African American female hair textures. She took her time with me, explained to me why she was doing each treatment and was very empathetic when I expressed being unsure of how to really take care of my coiled hair. I had an awesome experience at Melanie’s Hair Lounge, not only is Melanie pleasant and very easy to communicate with, she answered all my questions and gave advice on how to take care of my hair. From start to finish she took excellent care of my natural hair. I had a long over do cut and a flexi rod set. I was so happy how my hair looked so healthy and felt so soft when she was finished. Great experience!!!
