Buyer beware! Mel took a $1,300 down payment from us three months ago, rescheduled constantly, and when we asked for our deposit back, he told us we were being "premature" and that it was nonrefundable. He communicated poorly before ceasing to communicate at all. We didn't do our due diligence on him, and now are paying for it.
Mel stole $2100 from us. It was our 50% down payment. We had a contract written and signed and everything. For the first few weeks, he gave excuses as to why he was unable to show up and had to push the start date out. Then he stopped contacting us and stopped returning our calls. We'd love our money back. Or maybe the supplies, like windows, that you claimed were the reason you needed a 50% down payment. Be warned - This man is a scammer and his business in not legitimate.
