I was very dissatisfied with my experience with the provider during my recent visit. I came to the urgent care because I had gotten lash glue in my eye and needed an eye flush. I live directly across the street from the facility, which is why I chose to come there, especially since it is an urgent care center. It was terrible
One of the worst urgent care experiences I’ve ever had. The staff were dismissive, hostile, and rude to both me and my mother, who was helping me communicate because pneumonia was making it difficult for me to breathe and speak. I arrived around 2 PM with worsening symptoms. A few days earlier, I had gone to a MedStar ER for the same illness, waited about 8 HOURS without being seen, left, and was later diagnosed with pneumonia ant Inova Alexandria immediately. Very good. Except the front desk lady corrected me that "it's called a reservation. Not an appointment." Hmm I've worked at a hospital for seven years and I've never heard anyone use the word "reservation" for a patient appointment. Okay, I guess we are at a restaurant now but it serves medical care as today's lunch menu. I mean, okay I'll call it whatever you want but she didn't have to embarrass me like that in front of other people. Reservations. Good one.
