I donated via PBSC at this location, and I felt well cared for the entire time. Nurses were attentive and very informative every step of the way. They made sure to tell me I can snap a picture with my donation and tried to keep me comfortable and comforted throughout the process. I was regularly presented with hydration, and my vitals were regularly checked. I had a terrific experience at MedStar’s Stem Cell facility! The facility was brand new and everyone I interacted with was kind and great at the technical components of their job - from the phlebotomist to the nurse practitioner to the nurse that guided me through the procedure and spent most of the day with me (Kerri E) - everyone was lovely. First visit went well and I am getting ready for a new journey. Staff was nice and respectful. Looking forward to working with them.
This was my first time donating! The team here treated me with such respect and care, from the moment walking to my destination and meeting everyone, they definitely made me feel welcomed. The nurses especially made me feel like I was home, taking care of me to conversating and having a good time. Definitely would give them a higher score if I could.
