I was taken to Medical City by ambulance last week. I was in excruciating pain and very very sick! From the moment I was wheeled through the ER doors to the moment I was released, 2 days later, every interaction I had with each professional at Med City was incredibly pleasant, useful, educational and encouraging!!! I have Aplastic Anemia which means my bone marrow doesn't produce blood properly so by the time I got to the hospital, my blood count was so low that they couldn't get my blood pressure reading. Extremely disorganized and unprofessional. This hospital is why more and more mom's are choosing home births. I have been bombarded with redundant and invasive questions over and over, pressured heavily to send my babies to the nursery, had a botched epidural, massive blood loss through c section and then made to feel it was my fault because I had twins, I've been talked down to constantly by all but one of the nursing staff, the medical staff take it upon themselves to of...Continue Reading
