I just spent the last 6 days in MCT. I could not have asked for better care. The staff (nurses, physical therapy, food service, housekeeping, etc.) was wonderful. Everyone was sensitive to my needs and provided prompt service. The staff used procedures that resulted in cleanliness and a great standard of care. The biggest complaint for most people is "hospital food." At MCT, if you don't like what you get, you can ask for something else. I have never had that option before. Refreshing!
The doctor literally told me he was not there to make me feel better. Ordered an ekg and x-rays for gastritis! Ridiculous!
My husband had to go in for emergency surgery and the 2nd floor staff was great. Specifically GREG the lead or head nurse of this floor went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of to the tee. The company who did the surgery Lutz Surgical Partners and the surgeon did not visit my husband at all not even 1 time after the surgery which was ridiculous and also made things difficult for the staff at the hospital but besides their negligence Greg made sure to handle it and get my husband someone else from ... read more
I have never commented on an establishment for any reason, but due to my loved ones' recent surgery and stay at Trinity, I feel compelled to do just that... Over the past two years I have had the unpleasant experience of dealing with numerous doctors and over 10 different hospitals and have never been more disgusted in my life. HATS OFF TO THE ORTHOPEDIC WARD AT TRINITY HOSPITAL!! I unfortunately have recently had a total right hip replacement. Although the surgery was extensive, the staff on the Orthopedic floor made my stay extremely pleasant. Their level of care was over the top, the ortho floor runs like clockwork under the direct supervision nurse manager Gregory Kennedy, Gregory went above and beyond to see to it that all my needs were met from the day of surgery until the day of release. From the time I preregistered to my discharge from MCOT, I could not have been more pleased. Everyone from the gentlemen who drive the carts in the parking lot to the Nurses, Doctor, CNA'S, were outstanding. Everyone one took the time to see to your individual needs as quickly as possible. I really have to give a shout out to Dr.M.McCollough, the nurse on evenings on the surgical floor, Lisa, and the day nurse Becky, and the CNA Sallie. Their was a male CNA whose name escapes me but was ever so caring. Thank you all.
Just spent a few days at Medical Center of Trinity, Greg and his staff on second floor (nurses that I can remember are; Kim, Ruthie, and Erin, and the assistants) along with the housekeeping and foodservice groups, did an awesome job. I have had several surgeries but have never had the care and attention that I received from this group. Awesome job and Thanks Guys!
I can't thank the doctors, nurses, care givers and entire staff for making me feel so comfortable and in truly caring hands for my surgery. These people are not good they are EXCEPTIONAL!!
WORST ER FOR A CHILD. Took my 3 year old in with a high fever that couldn't be broke. They talked to her like she was an adult and EXTREMELY rude. They got pissed she wouldn't take her meds with ease and treated her terribly. Missed her vein for the IV and just kept digging til she got it. She never came back in to get her temp, give her a drink, or just to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. She stayed at the desk on her phone the whole time.
