Great Jewelry buying experience I recently visited Medallion Jewelers where I purchased a vintage Sapphire ring for a Christmas present for my wife. I was very impressed with the choice of rings available, both vintage and creatively designed by Alex. The entire buying experience was positive due to Alex's knowledge and friendly manner. Best Jewelers in Oregon! Short and Simple: My ring is beyond any of my expectations and I could not be more impressed or pleased! I got engaged in May and was referred to Alex by a friend who had also worked with him to create a custom masterpiece. It is a very small shop so it takes some time to get on the schedule for custom work, but he is absolutely worth the wait. Great Experience First time I have ever took in jewlery to sell....The staff was fabulous and so friendly and very patient. Loved the place....so lovely. Was sent there by a coworker and I just have to pass it on to others. I would totally recommend Medallion Jewlers to all my family and friends. Wonderful!!!

Sheepish about remarriage but very happy with Medallion I have bought and sold rings from this gentleman under happy and sad circumstances over several years. Each time I was impressed by his fairness -- I would even say generosity. It's also a very nice shop and the work they do is first rate without breaking the bank. Doesn't hurt that it's easy to like the guy.

My custom ring I bought a march birth stone online through a bidding opition and had an idea of what style and type of ring I would like. Ecstatic with results and customer service! Took an engagement ring-custom made from my finance's family members rings to a pop chain store that I had done business prior. The ring needed sizing & change to 'white gold'- that jeweler (abbrev version) basically said in a derogatory tone dont 'dip it' u need to change the setting and then after looking at it said"we wouldn't want the liability of touching it" take it to a custom jeweler. Honest and Wonderful In this economy every dime counts, and sometimes you run out of them and need to sell something. That just happened to me and, after checking a lot of stores both in Portland and in Vancouver, I chose Medallion Jewelers...and I am so glad that I did. The owner is a lovely man and totally honest. I had a piece of jade that he removed from the gold chain it was on, then he told me to keep the jade because it is valuable. He could have kept it and I would never have know that it is valuable. Best first time Medallion jeweler experience "I highly recommend going to Medallion jewelers.I called a few places and then I called Medallion jewelers just about 30 minutes or so before they were closing and needed to cash in on some gold. The Place to Sell Gold just sold some old gold jewelry to them and they are great people and a great company. Go see them first if you are selling any precious metals. They gave me the best price hands down.I took the same items to another local store that had put a coupon in The Oregonian promising 20 percent more with the coupon. Their quote was $340 less even with their supposed coupon bonus.I'll only do business with Medallion now.
