Attending Medical Sales College in San Diego was one of the best decisions I made for my career. I came in with a communications background and a strong interest in medical device sales, but I had so much to learn about the clinical side of the industry and how to actually get my foot in the door. It was worth every penny for me! Got the job I wanted after a month of graduation. Great program for building practical skills and a strong foundation in anatomy and surgical techniques. They provide tons of resources and opportunities, but you have to be willing to put in the work to get the most out of it. You get out what you put in!

I think it would be good to go over more of the sales process, networking, finding patterns, protocols, interviewing, networking, ride alongs, over learning how to do a surgery. I think it should be more mentorship focused. Getting the job should be more of the focus. Also, not everyone will go into the exact program they went to school for. I think also, in the beginning trying to find what field someone is interested in should be part of the program. Someone coming into the school has very little info about med sales. No o... read more
