RecommendedDr. Mel has been my family doctor for over 19 years and does a great job of not only treating any health issues I have but also listening to my concerns. He and his staff are always looking out for what's best for me. I never felt rushed or like he is in a hurry to see as many patients as possible.

I highly recommend this doctor's office. But we definitely need Dr Tedrow in there more often. Because as a female I would rather see a female doctor. I can only see her the 1 day a week she is in the Statesville office.

A very friendly staff, quick thorough service..
We were traveling from Charleston SC back to home in Ohio and both of us became sick. We stopped in Statesville for a hotel and found Med First close to our hotel. We were treated with such kindness, understanding and all around great service even being out of towners. One of the nurses even said she wished she could stop by later to take care of us. Dr. Mel is very thorough but wait can be a little long. Staff is very friendly.
