Dr Heltsley is very professional & knowledgeable about his field. Much better experience when compared to Visionworks. I had both my eyes examined and my contacts ordered here. John is great as well. He ordered my contacts. Appointment wait time is also short. Definitely recommend!
Attempted to make appointment. Had to call 3 times (no call backs). The receptionist was not paying attention to my questions. I asked who the Opthamohogist was and she gave me the name off DR. Heltsly- who is actually the Optomistrist. I said I need a noon appointment and she offered me all these times and I repeated I need noon and she then told me they were closed at noon. Dr. Areepanthu was excellent. Cheerful, great bedside manner and a good LISTENER/EXPLAINER. Listened to me so carefully that he was able to address each of my concerns even as we went back and forth over the subtleties of each symptom, their possible causes, and appropriate treatments. Really left me with a sense of ease. As the son of two medical professionals myself, I’ll go out on a limb and say that a bedside manner as good as his can be uncommon among clinicians.
