I think Dr Meckstroth is an excellent gastroenterologist and a very nice person. He is an extremely busy Dr and spends most of his time doing procedures however he has an excellent Physicians Assistant who sees a lot of his patients . He has a well run office and the staff is very nice and efficient.

Dr. Meckstroth really cares about patients. He offers a reduced rate for patients without insurance or high deductible plans. He provides the best price on endoscopies that I have found in either Lee or Collier County. As a primary care physician, I recommend him to my patients.

What experience? I had been to his office 5-6 times in the past year or so and never met him. I recently had a colonoscopy and I met him (are you ready to go?) for 10 seconds before being "put under". After the surgery, he was supposed to come out and talk about the results. I waited over a half hour sitting in a chair and he never came. Finally, I got up and left. Not a good experience, although his staff is very efficient. You have to leave a message to make an office appt.

My husband and I both saw Dr Meckstroth and found him very thorough, easy to talk to, and an excellent practitioner. We would recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. Doesn't see patients except for surgery. I would like to see him in office instead of staff!
