Worst butchers ever! Dropped off an elk for processing and received less than 45 lbs back. From there own numbers it was over 30% less than I should have received. These people are incredibly rude and in my opinion dishonest . I would recommend finding someone else to do business with.
Good prime rib last year, so this year we are going to try a 5 lb beef tenderloin. Service is fine, no fanfare (i.e., smiling), but really good meat. If the roast this year is as good as last year's then I'll give them 5 stars next time. Try them out, just don't expect much chatting, which sometimes is good, too.
I've been shopping here less than a year but I wouldn't go anywhere else. The meat is the best I've had in Idaho and really well priced. Every time I go in, the service is great. The guys are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and more than willing to go above and beyond than just selling what they have out in the case. I recommend them to everyone I know.
