The steaks were large and in charge. ...the bone marrow au grautin was well seasoned.....and the wait staff talked to us and treated us like we were old friends coming to their home for dinner!
We happened to walk pass this place and decided to stop in for brunch. We sat at the bar. Let me just say, the food was great but Mai, the bartender, was excellent. She gave us great suggestions l, was very engaging, and took great care of us. I started writing this review before we received the check. My husband mentioned that we're in Pittsburgh enjoying our wedding anniversary. Mai then surprised us with a celebratory drink. She is simply awesome!
When I want to see if a kitchen is all it leads on to be I go for the chicken. The roast chicken here was down right perfect. It was well cooked and juicy. All the garnish complimented the chicken and pushed the dish to a new level. This will be my new standard for a great chicken dish. Chicken is so simple and people take it for granted but if it is done well it is so comforting and exciting. I want to thank the chef for making a perfect meal.
Vary upset over priced and lousy service waiter brought luke warm water one glass pop for the entire dinner You set elbow to elbow tables are 20x20 no room to eat I will never go back should of went to a chain steak house for the money
I just ate the best meal of my life here. We started with some signature cocktails which were expertly mixed. The bone marrow appetizer was fatty and delicious and sinfully barbaric. I had the duck breast and my husband had the pot roast. Both of us were moaning with pleasure through the entire meal. We were stuffed after dinner, but still managed to share a pots de creme. The silky dessert was a delight. Emily's service was impeccable from start to finish. We can't wait to return!
overrated food served with a pretentious attitude as for the quality of the drinks..couldnt tell ya because we were never served them....btw..joseph tambellinis, altius, braddocks, alla famiglia, proper brick oven would be the short list of places i would highly recommend over this place
This place is rad..... I was there for the first time the other day... I am realy impressed with everything about it..... great food, drinks, and amazing people that work there.
My girlfriend took me here for my last birthday and it was a pretty miserabe experience. They have adopted That intimate seating thing where you sit in a stranger's lap. The servers are nice but the food is average in quality and they overcharge. It doesn't help that the whole place feels cluttered and it got so noisy w could barely hear one another.
Beautiful food and cocktails. The brunch service was wonderful and warm, and the decor is a delight. A must do in Pittsburgh.
