Fantastic food, friendly service and great care over gluten and nut free!
This was the culinary highlight of my week in NOLA. I wish I had discovered this wonderful place before my last day. I had the crab cake tacos and omg! To die for! I cannot recommend this place enough! Can't wait until next time!
THE BEST food we had in New Orleans! Go to the French Market and treat yourself to some crab cakes, blueberry pancakes, and the iced coffee is other-worldly!! You WILL NOT be disappointed.
What is great about Meals From the Heart is that the menu they have is indicative of the people who own the restaurant: flavorful, healthy, distinctly New Orleans, and wonderful. I had their vegan breakfast items. The pancakes are the best, and the apple patties are a non-negotiable! You have to get them! The green tea and black bean burger patties are also delicious. I plan to try the vegan lunch options next time!

The pancakes were amazing and so was the gumbo. I can't eat gluten or dairy so for me it felt like I was in heaven. I am going to make sure and have a few meals here every time I visit NOLA. I wish I had a place like this near home.
Fresh! Healthy! Tasty! Options. Loved the salmon cake and poached egg dish! Has vegetarian and GF option! Fresh carrot and orange juice. Kambucha too!
