Wow this place used to be called the Meadows so they pulled a fast one and changed the name to Desert Oaks….same place same dump same no care. Same staff. Absolutely the worst experience EVER. If you google Freezer Death Meadows Escalante ( which it was called previously) you will find that a resident died in a freezer due to caregiver oversight. It seems a beyond unbelievable that this facility is still open. So now they just changed the name Immediately took mom out and was already in the process before this happened. Staf... read more

I have refrained in putting in a review until now after reading all the one star reviews including stories about not getting refunds. My mother was there for two years before her passing. She was in the memorycare and the first year she thrived there. They had the Best activies director named Tami . She had a wonderful knack for getting patients to participate in daily activties. She left the end of 2023 and shortly thereafter the "freezer" incident happened plus found out there was no RN or Executive Director. About that ti... read more
been calling everyday for 2 weeks nobody picks up the phone let’s just say there’s a good reason all the recent reviews are one star
I have been a resident at the Meadows for almost 2 years. I have loved it here, but since Frontier took over I have been terribly disappointed. We are not getting all of the services that appear on my contract. We are not getting the cable that we have been promised. The internet is spotty. Sometimes I can use my streaming services and Sometimes I can't. I wish Frontier would pay their bills so we can have what has been promised to us. Bruce Warren
