one of my favorite destinations, rustic, best hosts, nestled on a scenic hillside out of town. enjoy our stay here every time.
My boyfriend and I stayed here in February, this was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. We were so delighted to find this gem! Andy and Mary Lou are wonderful! They make you feel welcome and right at home from the time you enter until you leave. The house is very warm and inviting with a fireplace in the common room. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful. The offered a plate of fruit, muffins and French toast casserole. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Johnstown.
I had a remarkable experience here on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Andy and Mary Lou both were so accommodating even with their busy work schedules. I had lovely conversations with both hosts, and I felt at home my entire stay. The place was exquisitely spotless, the furnishings interesting and comfortable, the food (those muffins!) delicious and beautifully presented, and the grounds and flowerbeds peaceful and gorgeous. We have enjoyed Andy & MaryLou's hospitality on multiple occasions and look forward to our next visit. The peaceful country setting is conducive to rest and relaxation while the breakfasts are always amazing. Give them a try. You won't be sorry.
Mary Lou and Andy are terrific hosts. It was our first time at a B&B and it was the PERFECT weekend. We will definitely be back soon.
We have been guests at Meadowbrook several times now and Andy and Mary Lou are the very best of hosts. We can't imagine staying anywhere else. Truly our home away from home! Outstanding in every way.
