Beware. Terrible experience. I got approved at their building and when they sent me the lease to sign - I discovered that not only they did not honor 1 month free promo but the lease itself contained aggressive language to protect landlord and included several unenforceable penalties (illegal fees, attempts to waive the right to a jury trial, periodic credit checks during tenancy without clear justification etc). CEO Marc Tavakoli doesn't only talk down to tenants but also to fire officials during property compliance concerns. Let's just say the staff aren't very organized and you can find plenty of rent stabilization cases against them.
Our dishwasher has not been working since January. It just has sitting water in it and we’ve made several maintenance requests and nothing has been fixed. The first time I made a request they came out without any coordination and I wasn’t home. After that it was almost impossible to reschedule. Now we have black mold in our dishwasher. I’ve opened it twice in the last 5 months and each time I did there was intense fumes that hurt to breathe in.
