I was born with congenital kidney problems. I had my first surgery at 8 years old. When I was 28, I lost my left kidney due to overproduction of calcium (because of my parathyroids), which manifested itself in calcium oscillate kidney stones. Nice staff but the doctors are a joke. Should have there license revoked. Crushed my finger and needed stitches but doctor said i needed to go to emergency room to see a hand specialist. Sent me to St Mary's without asking how busy they were. Wound up going to Delray because couldn't find one place to park at St Mary's. The triage nurse had no idea why i wound up at a hospital when the doctor should have stitched me up and then referred me to a hand specialist. Horrible experience. Had no choice but to use this place
Went there for my foot injury, was told it wasn't visibly broken,but needed to see a specialist because when the swelling goes down, there may be a hairline fracture. They referred me to an orthopedic surgeon who called me the next day to set up an appointment,oh wait, we can't set up the appointed because my insurance requires referrals... Called my primary, "we need the MD now notes in order to sign the referral", called MD now back,and they asked for my primaries fax, gave it to them and said it would be faxed within a fe... read more
