Left my job in an ambulance, got to the ER. I explained twice I was having chest pains, and the person completely ignored me and told me it was my stomach. I showed her where the pain was more than once. They did scans and everything to tell me NOTHING was wrong with me "just some stomach problems". I literally was struggling to breathe and they had the nerve to tell me it was stomache problems. OVER AN $800 BILL (with insurance). And to top it off I had to go to Salina ER the next day and have almost all the same tests done... read more
Went into the ER when my son was running a 104 fever at about 10pm the other night. The nurse with the short blonde hair was very rude and unprofessional from the moment she called him back. Obviously hates her job. Not sure why she's even a nurse. Due to this experience we will just drive the few extra miles to Lindsborg should we need anymore ER services.

McPherson Hospital represents and helps people of all ages and denominations. The doctors, nurses and staff work hard to attend to each patient's needs. If one has a heart attack or goes into labor, it is wonderful that he/she doesn't have to drive out of town to have medical services. Time is of the essence in many circumstances.
