Best McMenamins staff anywhere. Hands down. I love this place!
Slow service. Cruddy mixed drinks. Wouldn't allow us to add avocado to a freaking cheese burger. Were told is was "for salads only" BS.

If you could tell me more about your visit like the time and day you were in and a description of your server I can pinpoint the problem and work to improve it. There was obviously some confusion on the part of your server when you wanted to add avocado to your burger, we are totally able to do that regualrly. So far, the waiter has passed is a half dozen times and he still hasn't taken our order. He is an idiot! And this place just plain sucks.
Used to love this place but got sub-par service this visit and they've taken regular sized burgers off their happy hour menu...guess I won't be coming here for yummy happy hour burgers anymore...too bad :(
Living in Beaverton, we are lucky to have 6 McPubs within 5 miles. This place is my favorite. They have a nice little game room and free wifi (as do all McPubs.) The staff is what makes this place stand out. Excellent service even when it's busy. Food is a bit pricey but often times their specials are quite good. And they make the best thin crust pizza.
This is my "local" pub, Though its not the closest one to me. I really like the patio when the weather's nice, and pool is free until 5. I always hear about bad McMenamins service, but its never happened to me. Love the bar and wait staff here. Better service than just about any other pub. The only down side for me is the lack of plugs at the table, as I walk everywhere and am always running the battery down. But that's hardly a deal breaker.
