I went to McLendon because its more local than Home Depot and I like to shop as local as possible. So, I just spent 20 minutes hanging around the hardware section looking to spend $150 on a new drill/driver but I needed help with selection but no one seemed to want to helped me. Multiple staff people looked at me, but no one came to help. I work at a small retail business and the #1 thing we do is greet every customer and ask them if they need help. I got zero of that today at McLendon.

Horrible customer service today at mclendons. As a long time customer I can say that I will not be returning. My husband was laughed at by customer service and the manager basically told him he was stupid.

Best hardware store around!! Excellent customer service from people who really know their products and can advise you on what is best for the job you are doing. Not like at the big box store where they just point at an aisle and say "plumbing is that way." And their sales are good, especially in the spring.
