Hidden Fees & Misleading Pricing — Beware Vehicle online advertised price was $23,900 for a used vehicle, only to be told later that a mandatory $2,777 fee would be added on top. I have had two bad experiences with this dealership and with the same salesman. They are extremely predatory there and will lie until you do what they want. I was wanting to trade my truck in and decided to contact McLarty since that is where I purchased my vehicle. Prior to my appointment David *** knew exactly what kind of vehicle I had in mind. Financing was predatory and ran dozens of credits checks to temporarily lower my credit score until it was in a much lower bracket. Financing officer and salesman refused to tell me the interest rate until I drove 3 hours to the dealership. Salesman said he didn't know and the finance officer couldn't speak to me or confirm until I was in dealership. Then, finance officer refused to let me dismiss gap coverage and insisted the extended warranty was mandatory with the loan. Interest was magically lower if I purchased several ... read more
