RecommendedWow! What a wonderful and caring group of people I had come to my home. The nurses, Samantha, Lisa, and Sherry B. were great. Sherry B. went above and beyond by advocating for me to my surgeons office when they gave me a bit of a run around. Will, my physical therapist was fantastic. I made so much progress with his guidance. Will was so fabulous that he even got me the right walker to use ( in a snow storm) so I would not strain myself using the wrong kind. What a blessing! My father was discharged from McClaren hospital on palliative care, but when he got home and realized he was too weak he requested hospice. They came out and put him on service . When he was transitioning the support was next to nothing, I had to call bc I didn't have enough medication to keep him comfortable so I had to call to get some. the next day he passed the nurse came out to pronounce and said equipment would be picked up... 2 days later still here I had to call again... my mother doesn't need to keep looking at it. ... read more
My dad is in there now. It is absolutely heartbreaking. He went in after a fall and had to have surgery. Hes 80. If that wasn't bad enough, he had to delay his cancer treatment and worst of all he got the Covid 19 Virus there. He is a bit confused and now he is really scared. We can't get anyone to find his phone so he can see us and its almost impossible to talk to hom on the phone. He is on 10 litres of oxygen now and is very upset.
