My 79 year old Mother recently moved to Fenton she has a history of severe constipation & often went to the ER at her last address for this same problem. Laxatives & Metamucil has never worked for her. The blockage has to be physically extracted. I called ahead of time explaining her problem, her history with this problem & how laxatives & fiber do not work. I asked them if a physical extraction was something they could do. With two ER visits in one week, we had exceptional care both times! Our daughter broke her arm and our son needed stitches. Both times we were there we were treated with compassion and respect.
McLaren has chosen to have all billing down downstate and getting a billing issue resolved has been a six month struggle. I don't believe it will ever be resolved and I will need to sue McLaren. I would strongly suggest that you consider other options in the area before using McLaren. Health care is stressful enough without the hassle of dealing with an unresponsive organization.
I have only written positive reviews for doctors in the past. Unfortunately, my experience at MaClaren Fenton Emergency Care was so disappointing I felt I had to write a review. The nurse or PA I encountered this morning was so unhelpful it left me speechless. I made an appointment and showed up on time. There were absolutely no other patients waiting and there did not appear to be any in the clinic. A quick visit with a doctor would have taken care of the matter in a few minutes. Family friends write good reviews. It's cold and a hurry up and get out place. No,not that clean and no high rise toilet. Om not impressed that they have a cop dog. That means your in a high crime area,not a safe place...
I'd give zero if I could. This stupid place set my mom up for a blood lab at the Fenton office, which was time critical because of a potential cancer finding so that a cat scan could move forward and instead everything was postponed by many days because of McLaren screwing up yet again. We need to kick them out of Fenton and get a proper clinic in here. No one likes dealing with McLaren including other doctors as they are a pain at every level and they truly care more for cash than healthcare.
I was at the er on Friday night at 5:00pm and I was there till midnight there were no beds or rooms for a through exam they did blood work and and a ct scan a couple of hours went by before I heard anything I had to stay in the waiting room the whole time I was in pain and it took a while before I got anything they going to send me home till they did a urine test and found out I have a bladder infection I got a script for an antibiotic but no pain meds they told me to come back in a couple of days if it wasn’t better well it... read more
