Was not impressed sauce was way to tart. Portions small over priced
For Texas, the barbecue is actually good. Not a lot of healthy options, but the meats are good quality and cooked well. The sides, while some are boxed, others are fresh made. The tea is on the sweeter side which is a positive with me. They have a good drink selection. An easily affordable menu as well.
Nasty bathroom ... if not clean how the kitchen place needs to have clean restrooms and a clean kitchen wonder if the employee wash their hands ... we walk in went to restroom and walk out .... went Ruby's clean restroom and you can see kitchen and where prepare the food. Five stars....

What is the purpose of preordering and prepaying for food if your staff doesn't even check. Food was ordered and paid for at 8:01pm. Daughter arrived to pick it up at 8:20pm. The order was not started until after she arrived. Your cashier then tried to charge again for it. It took 3 more employees before this part was corrected. They left your restaurant after 9pm and when we went through the food found that our 2 meat plate consisted of 3 slices of brisket. Best BBQ around.....especially love their chopped beef baked potato! Also serving a great breakfast menu including breakfast tacos, yummy pancakes and much more! .....and only place I know of that serves free coffee for breakfast. Thanks McKenzie's!
