Patient beware. Allergies not recorded, then not recorded accurately. Employee tried to administer an injection I'm allergic to. Called out the mistake to make him stop then said "if you die you die" Registered Nurse tried to explain Ulcerative Colitis was an "infection" when I asked for the hospital administer in the ER and the nurses name she covered her name tag and left the room. I had a scan yesterday with a young man named Matt. He was professional and knowledgeable. I am grateful for his great attitude.
Hospital was alright, if it wasn't that would be a big concern. But the saying of "everything at hospitals are expensive" doesn't skip this place. Infact is the only hospital I've ever been to or seen that you have to pay for normally free fruit. 1 signal banana, that's around 3$. 1 apple, 3$. 1 orange, 3$.
I had a punctured lung, four fractured ribs and my right lung collapsed. The doctor told me I might go home after three days, tomorrow at the soonest. But after just two nights and only one full day I was suddenly discharged in the morning by surprise with absolutely zero warning or preparation. I had to leave with no follow-on instructions, no doctor contact and no pain meds. Sent back to the Veterans Home without anything I could use to get pain meds, they kicked me out for no reason. Everyone and everything was five stars but I can’t get over how unprofessional the young man with his hat on backwards and cell phone in his face “greeted” us. I almost walked out thinking this place is a joke. Once he finally looked up and checked us in all was well (except the wait). Please train this young man on costumer service since he’s the first person we see. His extreme lack of professionalism has a very negative effect on the entire hospital and staff. I was close to giving two stars due to him.
